A strong alliance:
forsys GmbH becomes part of the Niehues group

Senden (Germany), 22 January 2026 - After a long and successful partnership, the Niehues group is taking the next strategic step: forsys GmbH, a specialist in research transfer and systems engineering, is now part of the group of companies.

Forsys GmbH will continue to operate as an independent company. The merger creates the basis for even closer cooperation and the targeted pooling of expertise. The common goal is to develop innovative solutions for mobile hydraulics and to sustainably expand the existing expertise within the group.

As one of the core companies of the Niehues group, Th. Niehues GmbH plays a central role. With decades of experience in hydraulics and drive technology, the company is known for developing high-performance system solutions and, together with its partners, drives the innovative strength of the entire group. Niehues and forsys have already successfully implemented numerous customer projects in the past – proof of the trusting and efficient cooperation between the two companies.

Founded in Osnabrück (Germany) in 2009, forsys GmbH sees itself as a system development partner and system supplier for demanding applications in mobile drive and control technology. The company analyses individual customer requirements and develops tailor-made concepts, software solutions and systems. A particular focus is on programming and system integration, based on PLUS+1® from Danfoss Power Solutions and CODESYS, among others. With its in-depth expertise in the areas of automation, function development and autonomy, forsys supports its customers in optimising and further developing products in a targeted manner and making them technologically future-proof.

With the integration of forsys, the Niehues group is not only strengthening its innovative power, but also its ability to implement customer projects even more efficiently and actively shape the mobile hydraulics of tomorrow.
